Fishing At Blacklands This Winter

Prior Arrangement For Fishing Is Not Required When Camping

For winter dates, if you will be booked onto the campsite on the dates you would like to fish, then no prior arrangement or swim reservation is required. The expectation is that swim availability will be ample to accommodate all campers requiring swims. Note that day tickets must still be obtained (either at reception or from the warden) before setting up on a swim.

Otherwise, if you will not be camping, and don't have an existing arrangement in place with the fishing warden, please check with us before your planned attendance on 01273 493528, 8am - 1pm, weekday mornings.

Details for dates from October 2021 will follow shortly.

Rod License

Each and every angler aged 13 and over is required by law to have their own rod license, which is the responsibility of the angler (or guardian) to obtain in advance of any fishing with us.

Licenses can be purchased either online here, or in person at the post office.

You will be asked to produce rod licenses when purchasing day tickets, and unfortunately, we will have no option but to refuse the right to fish if you cannot produce the applicable licences at that point

Opening Times

Regular fishing hours are from 7am to dusk daily.

Night Fishing

Night fishing is currently not available.

Day Ticket Charges

£12 Per Adult - up to two rods
£10 Per Junior - up to two rods

Juniors are classed as persons under 16 year's old.

Note that we do not offer part-day tickets.

Each Day Ticket Covers One Adult/Junior Only

Each individual angler (juniors & adults alike) must be represented with their own day ticket. Although day ticket permits that angler to use up to two rods, day tickets do not cover, for example, two anglers with a rod each.

No Equipment For Hire

All anglers need to bring their own equipment - there are no rods or other equipment available for hire or purchase.
