Fishing At Blacklands This Summer
If you are booked onto the campsite on dates you would like to also fish, then no
prior arrangement is required. Day tickets for swims in this case can be purchased
on the day,
on a first come, first
served basis. With ample swims now available, we anticipate that allocating a swim to
all those wishing to fish should be possible in almost every eventuality.
For those looking to fish that will not also be booked onto the campsite,
then please make prior arrangements by either getting in touch with us
here, or by calling the bailiff Chris,
9am to 7pm only, on 07861 618888.
A day or two before the date you intend to fish would be the ideal time to make
arrangements in this case.
Lockdown Specific Information
For everyone over the age of 11, the maintenance of a social distance
of at least one metre from all adults and children not from your
own household or support bubble is mandatory on the premises of Blacklands Farm,
Where it may be unavoidable to break that
rule (for example, entering a communal toilet block or the shop),
a face mask strictly must be worn (by those over 11).
In addition, before entering any facilities block, or the reception/shop,
all persons (children included) must apply hand sanitiser
to their hands directly before entering.
We have installed hand sanitiser stations across the site -
but it remains nonetheless the responsibility of campers to come prepared with,
and to carry about their person their own hand sanitiser at all times when away
from the immediate area that they are camped at.
Children will not be expected to strictly maintain a social distance
from other children, but adults are expected to maintain social
distance at all times with children that are not a member of their own household
or support bubble.
- No more than two adults and two children permitted within the confines of
any one swim at any one time.
- Payment to be made on arrival by card, or correct cash only
(through the reception window - no change given).
Each and every angler over the age of 12 must have their own rod license,
which is the responsibility of the angler (or guardian in the case of minors)
to obtain in advance via any of the available
channels - either online
